Danny Dyer and Mark Kermode are at each other's throats once again, in the latest round of their seemingly endless feud.

This latest flare-up apparently began when film critic Kermode made a covert reference to his beef with Dyer on Twitter today (November 18).

"Apparently, a handsomely paid TV actor is still very cross about a poor review he got for a film no-one saw five years ago. Hey ho," Kermode wrote, without directly tweeting the EastEnders star.

Never one to turn the other cheek, Dyer replied by daring the BBC Radio presenter to address him directly with such insults.

"Not cross at all. Grow some bollocks and tag me in to your childish comment. Did you ever see Wasp??" Dyer retorted.

If you weren't aware, Wasp is the Academy Award-winning short film starring Danny Dyer from back in 2003.

Dyer went on to refer to Kermode as a "prick" in response to another Twitter user defending the critic.

As nasty as the exchange was, it was still much more civil than that time Dyer threatened to break Kermode's nose if they ever met in person.
