Gemma Arterton stars in this week's outlandish black comedy The Voices, as one of several women unfortunate enough to cross the path of Ryan Reynolds's well-meaning but demented Jerry.
Digital Spy sat down with Arterton to discuss her fears about being "too mainstream' for indie projects, and her mixed feelings towards the blockbusters for which she was formerly best known.
"I think if the right blockbuster came up, I'd do it [now], but I didn't really enjoy any of the blockbusters that I made!" Arterton admitted.
"I can say that now that they've happened, and I'm grateful for the various things that they've brought into my life, but it's not the work that I enjoy doing."
The Voices is released in the UK this Friday (March 20).
