Reacher star Alan Ritchson has debuted his new blonde hair, as photos from filming of The Man with the Bag have been released online.

The actor is teaming up with Arnold Schwarzenegger for the festive comedy, directed by Hairspray and Disenchanted's Adam Shankman (and first announced back in June 2023).

The film follows Santa after he loses his magical bag, and looks to his naughty list to find someone with the tools to help him. That someone ends up being Ritchson's character, Vance.

For the role, the actor has dyed the top of his brown hair a light blonde colour. It's not a drastic change, but it makes him look appropriately less intimidating for this lighter holiday fare.

In another image from the filming, we also see Schwarzenegger with Ritchson.

We're assuming Arnie is playing Santa, as the white beard and red outfit are there, although the iconography is toned down compared to what you might expect.

The Terminator actor is making his first festive movie since Jingle All the Way in 1996, and recently wrote on Instagram: "It is fantastic to be shooting The Man with the Bag with @alanritchson.

“Our director @adamshankman is one of the funniest directors I've worked with, New York City is an amazing host, working with @amazonmgmstudios is a joy, and I can't wait to share all of this Christmas cheer with each and every one of you."

Meanwhile, Ritchson will be returning as the titular character in Prime Video's Reacher early next year.

The third season, which will premiere on February 20, is set to be an adaptation of Lee Child's 2003 novel Persuader.

Man with the Bag will be released on Prime Video, although it doesn't have a release date yet.
