It can't really be Christmas until you've seen Die Hard, and you've got the chance to do just that on TV tonight.
There have been many imitations since, most recently Netflix's hit thriller Carry-On, but there's still no movie that can quite compare to Die Hard, which is now 36 years old (sorry for making you feel old).
If you've been waiting for your annual rewatch, Die Hard airs tonight (December 22) at 9pm on Channel 4, and will be available to watch on Channel 4's streaming service shortly after broadcast.
The movie also gets a repeat broadcast on Christmas Eve at 9pm on digital channel 4seven if you miss it tonight.

What to Read Next
The streaming service also has every other Die Hard movie available to watch – Die Hard 2, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Die Hard 4.0 and A Good Day to Die Hard – if you want to binge them all, although it's only Die Hard 2 which keeps the festive theme going.
If you're not a Disney+ subscriber but want to get in on the action, you can sign up from £4.99 per month for its Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription.
There are also ad-free subscriptions available for £8.99 and £12.99.
