David Harbour has confirmed Violent Night 2 is on the way with a cheeky festive snap.
The Stranger Things star appears in Violent Night as a bloodthirsty depiction of Santa Claus as he fights off mercenaries who have taken a wealthy family hostage during a Christmas gathering.
Also starring John Leguizamo, Alex Hassell, and Beverly D'Angelo, the gory horror flick has become a Yuletide staple following its release in 2022, with many fans calling for a sequel.
And now their Christmas wish has been granted with the Hellboy actor confirming the news by posing for a picture with old Saint Nick himself.

Producers Kelly McCormick and David Leitch gave an exciting update on the sequel earlier this year, teasing that development was going "super well."
During a panel at SXSW promoting The Fall Guy, they said: "We are planning on returns to those universes. Hopefully, honestly, even potentially end of this year for Nobody 2 and, beginning of next year for Violent Night 2, if we can find time in everybody's busy schedules.
"But the development's going super well and everybody's really, really excited about moving those worlds forward."

In a separate interview, Harbour confirmed work had begun on Violent Night 2 but had been halted due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes of 2023.
"Before the writers' strike there was, you know, maybe something that came in. We'll have to see where it fits if they can resolve all these labor issues," he told Collider.
"If the studios would please go to the table and end these labor issues, we could shoot all kinds of things I'd love to give to the people! But yes, we're in the process."
