Jenna Ortega's Wednesday co-star will be joining her in a new movie.
Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Ortega's on-screen mum Morticia Addams in the hit Netflix series, has landed a role in The Gallerist alongside the previously announced Ortega and Natalie Portman (per Deadline).
Zeta-Jones is one of six new all-star cast members announced for the film, including The Holdovers actor Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Only Murders in the Building's Zach Galifianakis and Sterling K Brown of This Is Us and American Fiction fame.

Other supporting cast members unveiled are Daniel Brühl and award-winning popstar Charli XCX, with filming expected to start shooting at the end of this year.
Aside from casting announcements, limited details about the movie have been shared, aside from a plot tease.

According to Deadline, the upcoming film will centre on "a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead body at Art Basel Miami".

The Gallerist will be directed by Cathy Yan of Birds of Prey fame, who has co-written the feature with James Pedersen. Portman has also signed on to produce, as well as star in the movie.
Ortega and Zeta-Jones have both recently finished filming Wednesday season 2, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2025.
Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes video of the cast on set in late September, which gave fans a first look at Ortega as the titular character in the second season.
The short video concludes with her voiceover: "If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed… and I’m not that generous."
Also reprising their roles for season 2 are Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams) and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder star Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), while Scoop's Billie Piper, Fool Me Once's Joanna Lumley, Boardwalk Empire’s Steve Buscemi and Westworld’s Thandiwe Newton are joining the cast as new cast members.
There is no release date for The Gallerist.
Wednesday season 1 is available to stream now on Netflix. Season 2 is expected in 2025.
