Lady Gaga's brand new album Harlequinis available to buy and stream now.

Announced by Gaga herself on social media earlier this week, the project is a companion piece to Joker: Folie à Deux.

The album is available to stream on platforms including Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube Music and Deezer. It's also available to download via the iTunes Store.

Harlequin is Gaga's first jazz-inspired project since her friend and long-time collaborator Tony Bennett passed away last year.

The album includes a number of pop and jazz standards, spirituals, show tunes and songs from musicals, plus two original songs written by Gaga.

Joker: Folie à Deux is a sequel to the 2019 film. It sees Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Arthur Fleck, with the character meeting Harleen 'Lee' Quinzel (Gaga) during his stint at Arkham State Hospital.

While fans still have another week to wait for Todd Phillips' film, Gaga did recently tease that her portrayal of Quinn would be different from that of her predecessors.

"You know my version of Harley is mine, and it's very authentic to this movie and these characters," she said.

"I've never done anything like I've done in this movie before, so it's all going to be completely brand new and really fun."

Lady Gaga's Harlequin is released on September 27, whilst Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled to be released in cinemas on October 4.
