The actor is set to star in Josh Safdie's upcoming A24 film Marty Supreme (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Plot details for the new film are currently being kept under wraps, though it's expected to involve table tennis after A24 released a teaser image of a table tennis ball on X (formerly Twitter).

The project reunites Safdie with A24 after the company produced his two most recent films, Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019) – both of which he co-directed with his brother Benny Safdie.
As for Chalamet, the actor has been busy filming James Mangold's biopic A Complete Unknown, which sees him transform into iconic musician Bob Dylan.

The film's synopsis reads: "At the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, a young Bob Dylan shakes up his act on the folk music scene by going electric and siring rock as the voice of a generation, defining one of the most transformative moments in 20th-century music."
The Great's Elle Fanning will play a representation of Dylan's real-life partner Suze Rotolo, whom he dated from 1961 until 1964 when they split after his affair with Joan Baez.
The cast also includes Edward Norton as folk singer and social activist Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as legendary musician Johnny Cash, and Monica Barbaro as singer-songwriter Baez.

Chalamet has also landed a big deal at Warner Bros after the success of Wonka and Dune: Part Two. In March, Variety reported that the studio signed a multi-year deal with the actor, covering both his work as a performer and producer.
"Working with Mike De Luca, Pam Abdy and their teams on Wonka and Dune over these last few years has been a deeply rewarding experience," Chalamet previously said in a statement.
"These are studio heads who believe in real movie making, and I'm so grateful for their support as an actor, producer and collaborator. This partnership feels like a natural next step. Let's go!"
Marty Supreme doesn't have a release date yet.
