Knives Out 3 started filming earlier this week, and we've now been treated to the first look at Josh O'Connor's character in the movie.

We don't know much about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, but the set photo of O'Connor's character has revealed he's playing a priest.

Naturally, that has led to a lot of comparisons to Fleabag's hot priest, aka Andrew Scott, who also appears in Knives Out 3. We haven't had a look at his character yet, so it could well be a hot priest double.

Writer/director Rian Johnson revealed on Monday (June 10) that Knives Out 3 had officially started filming ahead of its Netflix release in 2025, treating us to the first look at Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc (and his new hairstyle) in the movie.

The third movie again has an all-star cast with Craig, O'Connor and Scott joined by Cailee Spaeny, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack, Josh Brolin and Thomas Haden Church.

Aside from the details we can take from the set photo, the rest of Knives Out 3 is a mystery. We do, however, know that Renner won't be playing himself despite that Glass Onion cameo as the face of a hot sauce brand.

Sadly, it doesn't look like Tom Hardy will be appearing in the movie, despite rumours linking him to the threequel when the cast announcements started.

"Nobody's called me about this. This came out in the Google machine this morning, even I was like 'What's this?'. Someone's gotta ask me. Sounds cool, but no one's asked me," he explained when asked about the rumour.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is released on Netflix in 2025.
