Fuze begins with the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb, found on a London construction site. The situation calls for a mass evacuation of the site, which simultaneously provides the perfect location and cover for a heist.

Details of James and Taylor-Johnson's roles are yet to be unveiled, but the two stars are due to begin filming on the project in July.

David Mackenzie of Outlaw King fame has signed on to direct Fuze. The director will reunite with Taylor-Johnson for the film, who previously worked together on the 2018 Netflix film.

The Gentleman dropped on Netflix in March and has since proven to be one of the streaming service's best series of 2024.

According to Forbes, the show racked up 215.7 million viewing hours in the first two weeks. Reports suggest that the series' success could lead to a season 2 renewal from Netflix in the future.

James's other notable TV appearances include his stint in The White Lotus season 2 which aired in 2022. The actor played Cameron Sullivan in the ensemble cast drama which received 23 Emmy nominations, walking away with five wins.

More recently, James provided the voice of Bastion in US animated series X-Men '79, currently streaming on Disney+.

There is currently no release date for Fuze. The White Lotus can be streamed on Sky and Now.
