Netflix's new Fear Street movie has officially confirmed its cast.
Following the success of Netflix's Fear Street trilogy of films in 2021 – subtitled 1994, 1978 and 1666 – which were adapted from RL Stine’s novels, the author confirmed earlier this year that the streaming platform is adapting another instalment from his Fear Street series: The Prom Queen.
Netflix took to X today (March 26) to confirm the upcoming movie's all-star cast, writing: "India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor and Katherine Waterston are set to join us in Shadyside for one hell of a prom night".

According to Variety, the slasher's official synopsis reads: "Prom season at Shadyside High is underway, and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown.
"But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of '88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night."

Also set in the town of Shadyside, the films revolved around a group of teenagers who worked to break a deadly curse that had been haunting their town for hundreds of years.
The cast included the likes of Stranger Things stars Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke, Perfect Addiction's Kiana Madeira and Community's Gillian Jacobs.
All three instalments were directed by Leigh Janiak, who previously said she was hoping to create a sort of "horror Marvel" universe.
The Fear Street trilogy is available to stream on Netflix.
