Dune: Part Two star Florence Pugh has expressed how much she wants to work with co-star Zendaya again.

Pugh has joined Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi sequel as Princess Irulan, the daughter of Christopher Walken's Emperor, while Zendaya has resumed her role of Cheni.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Pugh explained working with her fellow Marvel star was "heavenly" and highlighted how "desperate" she is to do another project with her.

"We’ve admired each other for a while. By the time that we got to meet, it was well due time. Yes, we didn’t get to act with each other a lot, but it doesn’t matter. When you work with people that you admire, people that you look up to and wanna see how they work, it’s always a wonderful experience," Pugh said.

"You hope it’s wonderful, and in this case it was. And it made us excited for the next bit, potentially, whether that’s in this storyline or outside of this storyline."

She continued: "When you get to do press with someone, it just makes you even more eager to watch them work again and understand what it would be like to work with them again. So we definitely built quite the appetite after this press tour because we’re just desperate."

Zendaya and Pugh then jokingly begged somebody to write them something to star in. They should at least have a third Dune movie to look forward, as this sequel has been met with ecstatic early reactions.

Positive reviews state that Zendaya has much more to do in this movie than in the first Dune movie, but Zendaya recently joked that Paul and Chani's future "ain't pretty".

"I think it's far more than a love interest, so much as a complicated relationship that love gets in the way of," she said.

"And how are these two characters going to reconcile with that? I don't know how they get over it. I don't know what their future holds. Without giving it away, it ain't pretty."

Dune: Part Two will be released in cinemas on March 1.
