The movie will get a general digital release next week on January 16 in the UK and US, and will eventually land on Disney+ – though an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The Marvels focuses on a team-up between Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani).
However, upon release it became the lowest-grossing MCU movie, taking in only $205.9 million globally across its run.
Disney boss Bob Iger previously weighed-in on the movie's disappointing box office, suggesting it could be down to production during COVID-19.

"The Marvels was shot during COVID," he said. "There wasn't as much supervision on the set, so to speak, where we have executives [that are] really looking over what's being done day after day after day.
"I'm not sure another studio will ever achieve some of the numbers that we achieved.
"I mean, we got to the point where if a film didn't do a billion dollars in global box office, we were disappointed. That's an unbelievably high standard and I think we have to get more realistic."
The Marvels will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K on February 19, and on digital download on January 16. Captain Marvel is streaming on Disney+ and available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download.
