Marvel Studios' Blade reboot should be back in action "relatively soon" after some heavy delays.

Originally announced at San Diego Comic-Con International four years ago, with two-time Oscar collector Mahershala Ali in as the vampiric superhero Blade, this blockbuster has not only changed its director and screenwriters, but gone through the protracted WGA strike too.

While promoting his Netflix thriller Leave the World Behind, Ali provided Entertainment Weekly with a promising update on the Blade situation.

One supporting character we probably won't be seeing in the new Blade is Kit Harington's Black Knight from The Eternals.

"I think there was some misunderstanding about whether he was going to be in the Blade movie. He was never meant to be in the Blade movie and isn't," claimed the actor back in July.

Blade has a release date of November 7, 2025.
