Disney has announced new release dates for Marvel’s Deadpool 3 and Captain America 4.
After production on the upcoming films was halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the studio has shuffled its release schedule.
Deadpool 3, which was due out on May 3, 2024 will now hit theatres on July 26, 2024. As for Captain America: Brave New World, which originally had the July 26, 2024 slot, it is now due for release on February 14, 2025.

Marvel’s Thunderbolts also has a new release date, moving from December 20, 2024 to July 25, 2025, while the upcoming Blade reboot has gone from February 15, 2025 to November 7, 2025.
The SAG-AFTRA strike ended on Thursday, November 9, having ran since July 14, 2023, when SAG-AFTRA joined the picket lines alongside Hollywood writers from the WGA union.
Following the strike's end, Ryan Reynolds gave a big update on Deadpool 3, which had started filming before the strike.

Sharing a photo of Dogpool and seemingly confirming the pooch will be in the movie, Reynolds tweeted: "Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell.
"But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024 ."
Variety previously reported that filming will resume before Thanksgiving, which falls on Thursday, November 23, this year.
Last month, Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy confirmed how far along production on the movie had been before the strike happened.
"We've shot half the movie," he said. "I've edited half the movie. We're dying to get back to work and get this movie out next year."
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming on Disney+. Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, will now hit theatres on July 26, 2024.
