Burning Betrayal ending spoilers follow.

Burning Betrayal follows the sex-meets-danger formula already proven successful on Netflix by the 365 Days trilogy.

Among the almost pornographic content in the story, there is also a mystery to be solved here: who has betrayed Babi and why?

What to Read Next

An adaptation of Sue Hecker's novel, this Brazilian movie explores the unfulfilled desires of a woman who is about to get married. Barbara (AKA Babi) is excited about her wedding, but something is not entirely right.

Could it be that her husband-to-be, Caio, is involved in something illegal she is unaware of? Could it be his incapability of giving her the ultimate pleasure in bed?

Who cares — when she finds out he has been cheating on her for two years, their relationship ends abruptly and Babi decides it's time to take control over her life. That includes buying back her motorbike and seeing what's up with that hot judge, Marco, who was eyeing her in court.

Alas, Caio's shady businesses will come to find her. We delve into the ending of Burning Betrayal, now seated among the best sex movies on Netflix.

Burning Betrayal ending explained

Since the first moment they lay eyes on each other, Babi and Marco feel a connection impossible to resist.

After discovering they share a passion for badass motorbikes, they engage in a very steamy relationship that has Babi saying "Caio who?".

Their romance will find one bump on the road, though.

Marco has been hiding he is actually married, but he quickly explains to Babi the whole story. It turns out he is actually about to be divorced. His wife suffered a mental breakdown when their relationship was sinking.

Then she got pregnant. Their daughter is being taken care of in hospital because she suffers from a rare disease. When his soon to be ex-wife started to endanger the child's life by disconnecting the machines that were keeping her alive, their marriage reached a point of no return.

Marco now has custody of their daughter.

With this soap opera storyline finished, Burning Betrayal goes back to focus on its more thriller-like story. That is, Caio's illegal businesses.

After a house break-in and an attempted murder on the road, it's clear someone wants to get rid of Babi. That's probably due to the evidence he found in Caio's computer, which proves he was dealing with illegal schemes within Babi's company in order to get rich.

What Babi takes way too long to realise is he didn't act alone — her best friend and work colleague, Thiago, is basically leading the whole operation!

By the time she connects the dots, Thiago has lured her into a forest at night to kill her. Luckily, Marco shows up. He has been investigating the case on his own — despite being the judge, but whatever — in order to protect her.

Together, they defeat Thiago, and eventually expose the corruption scheme he had been hiding.

Six months later, Marco and Babi are living their best life.

Marco's daughter is much better now, and soon will be able to live with them at their home, no longer needing machines to stay alive. Sounds like their family is quickly growing, and they don't mind one bit.

Burning Betrayal ends with yet another steamy scene of the main couple.

Could there be a sequel like with 365 days? The ending of this movie doesn't leave any clue, but never say never.

Burning Betrayal is now out on Netflix.
