A UK release for Community star Joel McHale's new Christmas horror It's A Wonderful Knife has been confirmed.
The movie, which has been directed by Tragedy Girls' Tyler MacIntyre, is a new take on It's A Wonderful Life, and counts Yellowjackets' Jane Widdop and Barbarian's Justin Long among its cast members.
Written by Freaky's Michael Kennedy, the film also stars Ginger Snaps' Katharine Isabelle, One of Us Is Lying's Jess McLeod and Influencer's Cassandra Naud.

It has now been announced that It's A Wonderful Knife will make its debut in US cinemas on November 10, and will be released on streaming platform Shudder (including in the UK) at a later date.
The full synopsis reads: "A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers' life is less than wonderful — but when she wishes she'd never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse.

RLJE Films Chief Acquisitions Officer Mark Ward said of the release: "We're excited to release It's A Wonderful Knife and once again work with its amazing cast and filmmakers.

Producer Seth Caplan previously said: "I can't wait to share this project with audiences. It's an incredibly fun and emotionally satisfying film that packs heart-stopping thrills and unexpected twists into a surprisingly poignant theme that will entertain audiences this holiday season and for many more to come."
It's A Wonderful Knife will premiere at Beyond Fest on October 8, before being released in US cinemas on November 10. It will be released in other territories including the UK on Shudder at a later date.
