Blue Beetle's Ángel Manuel Soto will direct Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa in their long-awaited buddy action-comedy.
First reported by TheWrap, the movie will mark a reunion between the two powerhouse actors, who played warring brothers Baba and Edo Voss in the post-apocalyptic Apple TV+ show See.
Currently titled The Wrecking Crew, no plot details are being released right now.

The seeds for The Wrecking Crew were originally sown back in 2021, when Knock at the Cabin's Bautista randomly tweeted: "Just going to throw this out into the atmosphere and see what happens. Here we go...
"Me and Momoa in a Lethal Weapon-type buddy cop movie directed by David Leitch. Ok! There it is. Now we wait."

Aquaman star Momoa later spoke about the pitch during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
"[Bautista] literally texted me about four days ago, going, 'We need to do a buddy cop film. We love each other. We are on See and Dune together'," he shared two years ago. "And I said, 'Absolutely'. And he said, 'Let's do it in Hawaii'. And I said, 'Let's do it. I have an idea'.
"So it's off to the races now. We're doing it."

Momoa added at the time: "It sells itself, bro! Dave loves wearing Speedos, I love wearing board shorts. And both of us with our shirts off... He'll be grumpy and I'll be charming. Boom.
"I got the hair, he doesn't have hair, we cover all the demographics."
