Flamin' Hot duo Annie Gonzalez and Jesse Garcia have discussed the appeal of the popular puff snack Cheetos.
In first-time director Eva Longoria's upcoming comedy-drama biopic, Gonzalez and Garcia portray married couple Judy and Richard Montañez – the latter being the janitor who originally claimed to have invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos in the early '90s, a spicier version of the Frito-Lay product.
Catching up with Digital Spy for an exclusive chat ahead of the movie's release, the two cast members salivated over that perfect Cheetos crunch.

"Oh my gosh, it's like the texture of a fresh bag, coupled with the flavour when you get a fresh bag – the crunch," began Gonzalez.
"It's delicious. And then it gets a little moist in your mouth. It's amazing. It's all the things that you want in a snack."
Garcia, whose other credits include Narcos: Mexico and Sons of Anarchy, added: "I think sometimes it's, like, the heat is existing.
"It's not going to overwhelm you if you keep eating. You know, as soon as you stop eating something hot, there's like hot hot, but if you keep eating it, it's not as hot."
Gonzalez added: "Yeah, and I feel like the Hot Cheeto itself – it's not super, super hot. You know?"

Back when the project was first announced, Longoria herself teased a unique underdog story.
"I think probably the greatest challenge was making sure we stayed true to the theme of the movie, which is opportunity is not distributed equally," she told Variety.
"And when that happens, you have to work twice as hard and twice as long and be twice as good. And you still have to persevere and the story is so many things. It's rags to riches, it's American Dream 101, it's about perseverance, it's about the underdog.
"But at the end of the day, it's also about one person's perspective and struggle within themselves. So it's a beautiful, beautiful biopic."
Flamin' Hot is released on Disney+ in the UK and on Hulu in the US on June 9.
