Good Will Hunting star Minnie Driver has revealed to fans that she hates the film's most famous line.

Taking to Twitter, the star said: "I'm sorry but I hate that line, always have" in reference to the movie's well known line: "How do you like them apples?". Well, apparently Minnie Driver doesn't like them at all.

The revelation came after a series of tweets where Driver discussed some of her favourite movie lines with fans after writer David Quantick tweeted about Grosse Pointe Blank.

In response to Quantick, Driver wrote: "Also, possibly my favourite line from Grosse Pointe Blank: 'Is that that dead guy's blood?'"

This prompted a string of replies from fans discussing their favourite lines of hers. When one fan wrote to Driver and said that the famous apples line was "one of the best lines in film" the actress responded to let them know she didn't agree.

After the twitter user questioned Driver about her reasons, the star replied saying that the line "objectifies" her character Skylar and makes her "redundant".

"I think because it's just about male competition and totally objectifies Skylar, if not makes her actually redundant," Driver stated.

In other Minnie Driver news, the star is set to appear in the prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin which is set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher.

She recently appeared in a first-look image which showcases the actress as the elf Seanchaí where she can be seen donning pointy ears and a cape as she walks through a forest.

Series co-creator Declan de Barra described Seanchaí as "a shapeshifting storyteller that can travel between worlds and times".

The Witcher seasons 1-2 are now streaming on Netflix. Season 3 is in production, and spin-off The Witcher: Blood Origin premieres on December 25, also on Netflix.
