Keanu Reeves is set to lead DC's resurrection of the 2005 supernatural thriller Constantine which he starred in.
According to Deadline, the John Wick actor is going to be reunited in the sequel with director Francis Lawrence, who directed the first film in the franchise. The script will be written by Akiva Goldsman.
Goldsman will also act as a producer alongside Star Wars' JJ Abrams and Hannah Minghella.

Reeves will reprise his role of supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine, who is shown to be dying in the original film but ends up staying around to save his soul by keeping demons from hell from breaching the Earth.
He also fights archangel Gabriel and Lucifer in the movie.
Meanwhile, Reeves is gearing up for the fourth instalment of John Wick, which, according to director Chad Stahelski, will be the longest film in the franchise yet.
The as-yet-untitled John Wick 4 is going to be at least 132 minutes long, after the third instalment clocked in at 131 minutes in total.

The director also gave an update on how much of the film has been completed, saying: "We're on the final stretch for picture lock, and then we have our VFX music. But this is the furthest along I've ever been, this much in post.
"We love the music that we've got so far. We still have Tyler Bates doing the composition on some of the bigger sequences. VFX are going to be coming in throughout the rest of the year. But we're dangerously close.
"In our edit, as far as our picture lock goes, we're within a few minutes of locking. Our sequences are done. The movie is essentially done. There's probably another few weeks of tweaking overall, then we lock picture, and we're about music, sound and the effects."
There is currently no release date for the Constantine sequel.
