Netflix has shared the first trailer for a new rom-com starring The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham and Umbrella Academy's Tom Hopper.
Love In The Villa might sound like a dramatisation of this year's Love Island antics but, as the trailer shows, it's got more of a Shakespearean vibe.
The film follows Julia (Graham) who has been planning the perfect romantic trip to Verona with her boyfriend Brandon (Raymond Ablack).

But just before they're about to set off on her dream vacation, Julia is unceremoniously dumped by Brandon and makes the bold decision to fly to Italy solo.
Arriving at her romantic villa, Julia discovers it has been double booked and she's forced to share with the very tall, very annoying, but very handsome Charlie (Hopper) who is visiting Verona for work.
But after a rocky start, the pair manage to find some common ground, as they explore the romantic city together for the first time, where they might just become star-crossed lovers.
Graham is best-known for her role as Bonnie Bennett on The Vampire Diaries which ended in 2017.
But after playing the role of Bonnie for eight seasons the actress recently said she has no intention of ever revisiting the character if the show is rebooted.
"I mean, eight years, you know eight years of my life. I feel like I spent more time as a character than I spent as myself," she said. "I'm still that girl that was running around rogue, trying to play gigs and, I finally feel like, with especially all the films that I have – five films out this year, it's my second album I'm dropping this year – I feel like I'm almost playing catch-up in a weird way as an artist.

"I feel like I gave that show, and hopefully the fans that watch it, eight years of my life and poured so much into it and sacrificed a lot of time with my family, even time doing work with the UN refugee agency, doing my activism. So much of that has to get put on hold when you're on a 22-episode series for eight years.
"So, as grateful [as I am] – and I mean grateful because I grew from that show, I became who I really am in my twenties from that show – for me, yeah, the door is closed."
Love In The Villa hits Netflix on September 1. The Umbrella Academy seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix.
