DC has got itself a new Wonder Woman, with The Good Place's Jameela Jamil confirmed as the voice of Diana Prince's super alter-ego in DC's League of Super-Pets.

Move over, Gal Gadot.

Warner Bros confirmed Jameela's role in the upcoming animated comedy on Twitter on July 7, announcing quite simply: "Jameela Jamil is Wonder Woman."

The presenter-turned-actress will be joining the likes of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, John Krasinski, Kevin Hart, and Keanu Reeves in the upcoming animated movie.

Sharing her excitement, Jameela told followers on Instagram that she "can't believe" she's in both Worlds of DC and Marvel projects, in a nod to her role in Disney+ series She-Hulk.

"This project is so full of legit superstars it makes me dizzy. It certainly doesn't make me A list... but it's put me on my own WAHEY LIST," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "And I'll take that!

"Gah. And Keanu has joined the cast. SCREAMS IN DC. Can't believe I'm in DC and Marvel."

Russian Doll's Natasha Lyonne, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Diego Luna, Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon and Vanessa Bayer round off the cast, along with Olivia Wilde, Jermaine Clement, Marc Maron and Daveed Diggs.

Dwayne Johnson, who plays Krypto the dog to John Krasinski's Superman, first revealed the upcoming DC League of Super-Pets last summer, promising comic-book fans that the "hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change".
