Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa is currently filming, which means photos of the new cast members in character, even if we don't know who those characters actually are yet.

Case in point, we don't know who Thor: Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth is playing, but he kind of looks like his MCU buddy Volstagg with his red-haired beard. His moustache is also giving us Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot vibes, or someone from The Capital in The Hunger Games films. Could he be a villain in the film?

The prequel is filming in Australia, with Hemsworth's wife, father and three kids joining him on set. Not just for fun though, but the family actually will be appearing in the film. Once again though, we don't know what roles they'll be playing.

We do know a few castings, as Angus Sampson and Nathan Jones are reprising their Fury Road roles as The Organic Mechanic and Rictus Erectus, respectively. The character Immortan Joe is also said to be returning.

Meanwhile, The Queen's Gambit and Last Night in Soho's Anya Taylor is replacing Charlize Theron as a younger version of Furiosa.

Speaking about working on the prequel with returning director George Miller, Taylor-Joy said: "The thing that makes me most excited about Furiosa is, No 1, George Miller. That brain is incredible. I'm also really excited to do something physical. To physically become something else is something that will weirdly give me a lot of peace."

Unlike Fury Road, which took place over just a few days, Furiosa is reportedly set across the span of 15 years.
