There's nothing worse than conversations meant to be off-air being broadcasted from a mic that has been on the entire time.
That's what happened to radio host legend Howard Stern who, on the latest installment of The Howard Stern Show, accidentally announced a new Marvel project based on the very popular MCU villain Doctor Doom.
During the show, as loud adverts were playing, Stern was heard telling his co-host Robin Quivers that he would be involved in the project – but with some complications.

When Quivers asked him whether he'd be working during the summer, he responded with anything but excitement: "They're going over the schedule with me, and it's going to suck."
"I told you, I'm going to do Doctor Doom," he added. "But believe me, I'm f***ing miserable about it."

As of now, with the project still not officially confirmed, it is not clear yet whether Stern is attached to play Victor von Doom himself, who in the comics famously battled the Fantastic Four, or whether he will simply be joining the supporting cast.
However, the radio host wasn't the only one inconvenienced by the unexpected turn of events. Marvel fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief and mirth over the unexpected turn of events as they attempted to figure out the star's role in the upcoming project.
"I guess we learned that Howard Stern isn't going to run for president because I'm not sure he can do that and play Dr. Doom at the same time," wrote one.
We'll have to see what comes of this accidental reveal and what role Stern ends up playing in the film.
