Killing Eve's Jodie Comer has found her next film role in apocalyptic thriller The End We Start From.
From a novel by Megan Hunter, the film is set in an environmental crisis in London, leaving the city submerged with flood water. In this scenario, Comer's character navigates motherhood as she and her newborn child try to find a way back home (via Deadline).
The film is directed by BAFTA winner Mahalia Belo (The Long Song) from a script penned by Succession and Normal People writer Alice Birch.

"The End We Start From is very close to our hearts," producers Leah Clarke, Adam Ackland and Liza Marshall said in a statement.
"Megan's heart-wrenching novel, and Alice's wonderful adaptation, present a story about motherhood, separation, social and environmental upheaval, and those primal instincts in us which draw moments of joy and inspiration out of the chaos.

Comer and MCU's Benedict Cumberbatch are among the executive producers.

In 2021, Comer starred in action comedy Free Guy alongside Ryan Reynolds as well as featuring in star-studded medieval epic The Last Duel as Marguerite de Carrouges.
The actress recently made her West End debut in sexual assault play Prima Facie, in which she plays a barrister defending rapists whose moral compass shifts in the face of horrific assault.
Comer and Sandra Oh have also bowed out as Villanelle and Eve after four seasons of Killing Eve. The BBC thriller aired its series finale episode on April 10, but left some fans disappointed over its conclusion.
Killing Eve season 4 airs on BBC America in the US and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
