Halloween Ends is on track to follow up Halloween Kills just a year later, and progress is going really well.
So well, in fact, that principal photography has wrapped and the film will be going into the editing and mixing bays shortly. So it looks like this third reboot entry won't be delayed out of its Halloween 2022 release date.
Producer Ryan Turek shared a photo to his Instagram of various crew members on set as an orange sunset hangs over the scene, writing: "Last night of shooting. A wrap on our Halloween trilogy. Incredible journey.

Halloween Ends, as its title implies, is the end of the revived trilogy and the Michael Myers vs Laurie Strode saga, so we should expect the stakes to be raised even higher and some emotional farewells.
Plot details are a bit thin on the ground beyond what was set up in Halloween Kills, but we do know that the film is bringing back Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace. She's more known as a reality star in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills nowadays, but she did some child acting back in the day and is dipping her toes back in for the finale.
One person who might not be back is Judy Greer's Karen Nelson, as she seemingly met her grisly fate at the end of the last film and co-star Andi Matichak made a post about missing Greer on set.
But we never saw Karen's lifeless body, so some fans think it's all a ruse and she will be in the film.
Halloween Ends is released in cinemas on October 14, 2022.
