The Academy Awards are fast approaching and the past year has offered some incredible films worthy of the Best Picture nomination and, of course, some that leave us scratching our heads.
While 2021 was a tough year, and the Oscars always prove contentious, last year's awards ceremony did make some positive headlines. Chloe Zhao became the first woman of colour to win Best Director, and only the second woman ever.
The 94th Academy Awards take place on March 27, meaning there isn't a lot of time to watch the movies you may have missed. Here's where to watch each of the Best Picture nominees.
Belfast
Where can I see it? Belfast is out now in cinemas.
What's it about? Belfast follows the life of a working-class family during the late 1960s, focussing in particular on their young son's childhood growing up in Belfast.
Who's in it? Jamie Dornan, Caitríona Balfe, Judi Dench, Ciarán Hinds, Colin Morgan, and newcomer Jude Hill.

Drive My Car
Where can I see it? Drive My Car is now playing in select cinemas.
What's it about? After the sudden death of his wife, Yusuke Kafuku, a widowed actor, heads to Hiroshima. While there, he winds up being chauffeured by a 20-year-old girl. The pair form a special bond as Yusuke confronts the mysteries left behind by his wife.

Dune
Where can I see it? Dune is still playing in cinemas, but you can also watch it on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Google Play.
What's it about? Based on the novel of the same name, Dune follows the gifted young Paul Atreides who becomes entangled in a destiny far beyond his understanding. It is the first half of a two-part story.

King Richard
Where can I see it? King Richard is out in cinemas, and available to watch on Amazon Prime.
What's it about? A biopic about Richard Williams, father of tennis champions Venus and Serena, and his determination to write his daughters into tennis history books.

Licorice Pizza
Where can I see it? Licorice Pizza is now out in cinemas.
What's it about? A coming-of-age dramedy set in California's San Fernando Valley during the 1970s.

What's it about? An ambitious carnival worker becomes embroiled in dastardly events beyond his control.

The Power of the Dog

What's it about? A brooding and menacing ranch hand set in his ways reacts with cruelty when his forward-thinking brother comes home with a new bride and her son.

West Side Story
Where can I see it? West Side Story is out now in cinemas.
What's it about? Romeo and Juliet set in the late '50s in New York City. Tony, the golden boy of the Jets, and Maria, the sister of the leader of the Sharks, fall in love. Chaos ensues, set to music.
