Encanto's cut credits scene revealed

Encanto spoilers follow.

Unlike Marvel, Disney movies don't often end with a mid- or end-credits scene, and Encanto is no different.

As it turns out, however, that wasn't always the case.

During an Encanto watch-a-long on Twitter on January 30, co-director and co-writer Jared Bush released an unseen end-credits scene that the team almost ended the movie on.

Explaining the reasons behind the cut, Jared told fans: "We considered an after credit joke to end the movie, but ultimately felt going out on the emotion and joy of the family coming back together was the way to go..."
