Marvel boss confirms Charlie Cox would be Daredevil in the MCU

Spider-Man fans have long been hoping that No Way Home will introduce Daredevil to the Marvel Cinematic Universe once and for all, and while that possible reveal remains unconfirmed, Kevin Feige has revealed who will play the character if it ever happens.

And that's a big 'if', folks.

As rumours of Daredevil's MCU debut continue to swirl, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has finally commented on the future of the superhero – and of actor Charlie Cox.

Confirming that Charlie Cox is Marvel's Daredevil despite the end of his Netflix series, Feige told CinemaBlend: "If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil."

Offering a considerable caveat, Feige added: "Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen."

Responding to the rumours back in August, Charlie Cox remained diplomatic. "My answer is no comment; I don't know what's going to happen. I genuinely don't know," he insisted.

"If there was a chance of that happening in the future, I don't want to say something that could potentially jeopardise those chances...

"I don't know, I have no idea... maybe in the future [I would reprise the role], and that would be great. Who knows? We'll see."
