The Matrix Resurrections tickets are on sale VERY soon

The Matrix Resurrections is set for release later this month, hopefully answering all the many questions that the trailers have asked us, and there are many.

For fans waiting to know when the tickets start going on sale, look no further.

Warner Bros has confirmed that US-based fans can get tickets for the film's December 22 release date from 9am on December 6, over two weeks early. Of course, those in the US are also getting the film on HBO Max on the same release day, but for those of you wanting to see it on the big screen, you've got plenty of time to get your tickets in.

Meanwhile, UK fans will be able to book their tickets a few days later on December 8.

One of the biggest questions is whether Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Morpheus is the same one as Laurence Fishburne's. It's something he's kind of addressed, saying: "This is definitely a different iteration of the character.

"What the viewers will come to understand is that there are many rules of the Matrix. Age, appearance, the things we identify as real, can be manipulated in that world. The Matrix is where anything is possible."

Lana Wachowski also recently revealed why she wanted to bring back Neo and Trinity now, and it's actually quite a heartbreaking reason.

"One night, I was crying and I couldn't sleep, and suddenly my brain exploded this whole story," she recalled.

"And I couldn't have my mum and dad, I couldn't talk to my mum, yet suddenly I had Neo and Trinity, arguably the two most important characters in my life. It was immediately comforting to have these two characters again."

The Matrix Resurrections will be released on December 22.
