Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been pushed back once again on the theatrical release calendar.
After major coronavirus-forced delays, this sequel to 1989's Ghostbusters 2 was finally due to hit the big screen on November 11, but now the word is we're getting it over a week later on November 19.
All in all, it could be worse, so sit tight for a little longer Slimer lovers.

Afterlife itself was screened at last month's CinemaCon in Las Vegas as a special surprise for attendees, and we're ecstatic to confirm it went down an absolute treat.

Meanwhile, Bleeding Cool's Kaitlyn Booth reflected: "Ghostbusters Afterlife was really great. As someone who wasn't a massive [fan] of Ghostbusters I had so much fun even without understanding the references. A ton of heart with a great cast. New and old fans are going to love it. Stay through the credits!"
Jason Reitman directs, while the franchise's remaining legends Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are confirmed to cameo.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is out in cinemas on November 19, 2021.
