Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Paul Giamatti has ruled out a return in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The actor appeared as Rhino in the 2014 film and amid reports of various pre-MCU era characters making a reappearance in Tom Holland's third solo Spider-Man venture, recently confirming he hadn't been approached for the Marvel film.
Asked whether he had hopes of returning, Giamatti told ComicBook.com: "I'm happy.

"I hadn't followed any of [these rumours]. Somebody else just asked me about this, so I hadn't been following. I'm okay with that.
"I'm certainly okay to just leave it all where it is. It's fine with me."
The comments follow JK Simmons' surprise Far From Home return as J Jonah Jameson.
Since then, it's been reported that he, Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina will all return in No Way Home as Jameson, Electro and Doctor Octopus respectively, with speculation that their re-emergence will form a multiverse plot in the movie.
Previously, Andrew Garfield ruled out a return for No Way Home.

He told the Happy Sad Confused podcast: "I can't speak for anything else apart from myself, they might be doing something.
"But I ain't got a call."
Spider-Man: Far From Home is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. Spider-Man: No Way Home has a December 17, 2021 release date.
