Titans star Teagan Croft is about to swap her superhero cape for a sailing boat as she is set to lead a brand new family film for Netflix.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Croft will star as Jessica Watson in the movie True Spirit, based on real-life Watson's memoir of the same title which details her solo sailing journey around the world.
Told from Jessica's perspective, True Spirit recalls her travels as a 16-year-old Australian sailor which took her once around the globe in 210 days.

What's fascinating about Jessica's story is that she is the youngest person to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. She took on the massive challenge in 2010 and survived seven knockdowns while at sea.
The film set out to capture Jessica's unique experience and voice who will be consulting on the project.
True Spirit is set to be directed by Sarah Spillane who also co-wrote the script alongside Cathy Randall.
Spillane will executive produce as well with Shahen Mekertichian, Brent Emery, and Suzanne Farwell.

While the movie is currently in the planning and pre-production stagea, we do know that it will start filming later this year in Queensland, Australia and Sydney.
There is currently no set release date for True Spirit on Netflix.
