Marvel acting is "crap", according to Marvel's very own Mickey Rourke.
The actor and former boxer – who won critical acclaim for his role in 2008's The Wrestler – dismissed the success of Marvel Studios in a recent Instagram post, while at the same time showering praise on long-running procedural drama Law & Order.
Mickey paid tribute to the cast and crew of the "fabulous" Law & Order in a lengthy social media post over the weekend, claiming that he had never seen "such terrific acting ever on television".

As well as celebrating the work of Law & Order stars Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Stephanie March, BD Wong, and Ice T, Mickey complimented the show's "terrific" production and "top class" direction.
The same, however, couldn't be said for Marvel.
"Respect to all of you, the work that you all do is real acting, not like that crap that all on Marvel shit," he added.
It's an interesting position from Mickey, as the actor has himself appeared in one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first entries: Iron Man 2.
Rourke appeared in the Iron Man sequel alongside Robert Downey Jr as the movie's villain, Whiplash, who appears in the comics as a young Russian scientist who seeks revenge on Iron Man after someone wearing the hero's stolen armour murders his father.
We shan't be expecting any kind of role reprisal in the future, mind.
