Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot has accused Joss Whedon of threatening her career on the set of the Justice League reshoots.

Cyborg actor Ray Fisher previously spoke out against the director's alleged "abusive, unprofessional" behaviour on set, leading to further claims and a now-concluded investigation by Warner Bros.

The studio did not publicly announce the findings of its internal investigation, but did announce that "remedial action has been taken". Meanwhile, Whedon has denied any wrongdoing.

Previously, it was claimed that Gadot objected to some of Whedon's dialogue and he allegedly responded by threatening to give her an unfavourable edit in the theatrical cut, to which the star said last month: "I had my issues with [Whedon] and Warner Bros handled it in a timely manner."

Now, she has elaborated on her time on the reshoots in an interview with Israeli publication N12 (via Deadline), alleging: "He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable, and I just took care of it instead."

Digital Spy has reached out to Whedon's representatives for comment.

Beyond Justice League, Whedon was accused of creating a "hostile and toxic" environment by former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-workers Charisma Carpenter and Amber Benson. Whedon has yet to publicly address their accusations.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is available on HBO Max in the US and on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK.
