George Clooney is under no illusions about how "terrible" Batman & Robin was, freely admitting that he wasn't the best Caped Crusader.
The Oscar-winning actor is widely regarded as the worst-ever Batman following his stint in the campy movie series, but that's a fact he now seems to be at peace with.
“The only way you can honestly talk about things is to include yourself and your shortcomings in those things,” he recently told GQ. “Like, when I say Batman & Robin's a terrible film, I always go, ‘I was terrible in it.’

Clooney has been outspoken about the quality of his Batman films in the past, having previously revealed that he warned Ben Affleck not to take on the role.
"I actually did talk to him about it. I said, 'Don't do it'. It was only from my experience, which is, you know... He did great, though," he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019.
Released in 1997, Batman & Robin was directed by Joel Schumacher and is often cited as the worst on-screen depiction of the Dark Knight.
However, it's not universally despised by everyone. In recent years, the film has gained somewhat of cult following from fans who celebrate the more corny aspects found in the original comics and '60s television series.
To be fair, even when played dark and serious, the idea of a man fighting crime while dressed as a bat is inherently pretty corny, isn't it?
