Ben Affleck will sensationally reprise his role as Batman for DC's upcoming Flash movie.
The actor will play The Dark Knight one last time in what's being described as a "substantial part".
The upcoming movie, directed by Andy Muschietti, will see Ezra Miller's Flash aka Barry Allen encounter various different versions of the Caped Crusader, with Michael Keaton's incarnation being one of them.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Muschietti revealed that Affleck was shown the script last week and agreed to be part of the film.
"He's a very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie," said the director. "The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck's Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven't seen before.
"It's Barry's movie, it's Barry's story, but their characters are more related than we think. They both lost their mothers to murder, and that's one of the emotional vessels of the movie. That's where the Affleck Batman kicks in."
He added: "I'm glad to be collaborating with someone who has been on both sides of the camera, too. He understands."
Affleck seemingly stepped away from the role for good after Justice League was universally bashed by critics (and a healthy portion of DC fans), but evidently his involvement is not over yet.
The end of Batfleck was always going to cause a bit of a problem for the Worlds of DC, in that this version of the character has already mixed with the other members of the Justice League.
It remains to be seen what route the Flash movie takes, but given there will be multiple versions of Bruce Wayne knocking about, this could be how they recast the character for the films ahead.
The Flash is currently scheduled for release in cinemas on July 1, 2022.
