Zack Snyder has indicated that Robin's mysterious death at the hands of the Joker will be further addressed in the fiercely-anticipated Justice League Snyder Cut.
The Boy Wonder's demise was first highlighted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where fans saw that Bruce Wayne kept his partner's suit in a memorial display case in the Batcave.
The director has now teased we might get a bit more backstory on social media platform Vero, when one fan directly messaged him: "Did you have plans to dive deeper into the background of Dick's [Grayson] death in your future movies? Maybe JL?"

"A hint in JL" he simply responded.
Earlier this month, the filmmaker also confirmed that the red sky featured in the theatrical cut of Justice League, which burned a hole in our retinas during the climactic battle with Steppenwolf, will not appear in next year's re-edited version.
Meanwhile, Lex Luthor star Jesse Eisenberg previously shared his happiness at Snyder finally being given the green light to unleash his original vision.

"I'm so happy for him that he gets to release something he's proud of," he told Digital Spy.
"I mean, I can't think of any other precedent in history where there was something of this scope. Because it's not just about releasing the movie, but it required all of this... we call it post-production.
"So it's not just they're releasing scenes that are finished, they had to do a lot of post-production and it's such a big process," continued Eisenberg.
"And yeah, I'm so happy for him. He's a great guy with a very, very specific vision and so, yes, I'm happy that he gets that. And he seemed really happy."
Justice League is out now on DVD or Blu-ray. Zack Snyder's Justice League will release on HBO Max in 2021.
