A host of DC movies are already leaving new streaming service HBO Max, which launched on May 27.

Wonder Woman, Justice League, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad will all depart the platform on July 1.

Also saying goodbye to HBO Max will be older DC movies Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Catwoman, Jonah Hex and The Losers.

But the films won't be saying goodbye for good. Deadline reports that HBO Max will be rotating a collection of DC movies on the streaming service.

Staying put for now will be Aquaman, Shazam!, Joker, Green Lantern and Supergirl. And in July, a new batch of DC films will hit the streaming service, with more to come in August.

HBO Max will also be the home of the highly-anticipated Justice League Snyder Cut set for release next year.

What to Read Next

Responding to the news of its release, Zack Snyder admitted he thought it would take 20 years for the cut to see the light of day.

"I always thought it was a thing that in 20 years, maybe somebody would do a documentary and I could lend them the footage, little snippets of a cut no one has ever seen," he said.

His wife and producing partner Deborah Snyder added: "With the new platform and streaming services, you can have something like this.

"You can't release something like this theatrically, but you could with a streaming service. It's an opportunity that wasn't there two years ago, to be honest."

Wonder Woman 1984 has a release date of August 14, 2020.
