Robert Pattinson has said that he enjoys working with children and animals.
During an appearance on NBC's Today show on Monday, the Water for Elephants star said that he likes adding unpredictable elements to a scene.
"I like working with kids, I like working with animals," said Pattinson, who shares the screen with a number of animals in Elephants.
The actor, who plays a depression-era vet in the film, added: "The more unpredictable elements you can put into a scene, the more I like it. Especially if you're doing 15, 20 takes [and you] have an elephant who does whatever she wants every single time."
Pattinson, who previously admitted that he received hate mail when he was first cast in Twilight, called his elephant co-star "unbelievable" but warned that zebras are "the ones you have to watch out for".
"Always avoid zebras. If you see a zebra on the street, run," he joked.
