Onward has plenty of fantasy Easter eggs and references for eagle-eyed viewers, and director Dan Scanlon has revealed some of his favourites.
"I love when they go to the fast food restaurant and it says 'second breakfast' [on the sign]. That's a good one," he told Digital Spy of a nod to The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
"And there's a store called 'Sword in the Scone'."
Previously speaking to Digital Spy, producer Kori Rae revealed that they even went as far to create a specialised group for the fantasy Easter eggs.
"We actually created a taskforce. It was a group of people who were really into fantasy and into roleplaying games. They came up with a whole lot of the kind of Easter eggs regarding fantasy that were in the film," she explained.
Rae added that the team was created as, along with writer/director Dan Scanlon, she's not a big fantasy expert.

"We needed to rely on the people on the crew who were. It was called the fellowship. So they came up with a lot of the things that are kind of hidden throughout the movie that are, straight ahead, kind of fantasy-related," she continued.
Onward takes place in a world that used to be filled with fantasy and magic, before it became more like the world we know, creating a unique take on a fantasy world.
"We really had to figure out how to balance the level of fantasy and 'modern' to create our own version of fantasy for this film," Rae noted.
"At first, we thought maybe we wanted it to be super-bright and kind of garish. And then that didn't quite feel right. So we did a lot of back-and-forth-ing in trying to find the right balance of making it look like classic fantasy, but our version of what that classic fantasy is.
"A lot of fantasy is kind of brown and sweaty... So we didn't want to go that far, but we wanted elements of that in there."
Rae also spoke to Digital Spy about the casting of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, as well as revealing that Holland warned them about his spoiler habits.
Onward is released in cinemas on March 6.
