Former Marvel star Edward Norton hasn't ruled out a possible MCU return in the future.
Norton played Bruce Banner in 2008's The Incredible Hulk – the second film in the MCU – but left the role afterwards and was replaced by Mark Ruffalo.
When asked by Total Film whether or not he would be interested in returning, the actor said that he was "open to everything".
"Maybe as a baddie?" he said. "Maybe I'll write my own. I don't know, I'm open to everything. I mean, I did Ask the StoryBots on Netflix."
Playing a different character to Bruce Banner wouldn't be impossible, particularly since there have been stars who have portrayed more than one character in the MCU.
Gemma Chan featured in Captain Marvel as Minn-Erva, but will star in The Eternals as Sersi. Elsewhere, Mahershala Ali is starring as Blade having previously played Cottonmouth in the Luke Cage TV series, and Alfre Woodard starred as Mariah Dillard in Luke Cage having also featured in Captain America: Civil War as Miriam Sharpe.

"Kevin had an idea of a thing that you could do, and it was remarkable. It [just] didn't happen to be on a tonal, thematic level what I wanted to spend my time doing. Conflating that into a fight or a judgement is grotesque."
