From a Buzz Lightyear toy lying on the floor of the dentist's waiting room in Finding Nemo to Lady and the Tramp making a brief appearance in 101 Dalmatians, the House of Mouse absolutely loves dropping Easter eggs in their movies.

And the studio was at it again for their live-action remake of Aladdin, chucking in another blink-and-you'll-miss-it reference to a classic Disney film.

The Easter egg briefly appears in the scene set in the desert, where Will Smith's Genie explains the rules of wish-making to Aladdin for the first time.

In the background, Carpet can be seen making a sandcastle – but it isn't just any sandcastle, it's Cinderella's castle. The sentient rug even sprinkles the structure to create Disney's iconic arch.

Did you spot it the first time round? We didn't, we'll admit.

Elsewhere, the live-action remake's producer Dan Lin recently revealed there's a chance the film could get a sequel.

Speaking to Comic Book, he said: "When we first made the movie, [we] wanted to just make the best movie we could and let audiences tell us if they wanted to see more.

"I would say resoundingly audiences want to see more. They've watched this movie multiple times," he continued.

"We have lots of fan letters about people who really go back and they bring their friends and bring their family, and so we feel like there's more story to tell."

Aladdin is released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 23, 2019.
