Avengers: Endgame is absolutely jam-packed full of stuff in its epic three-hour runtime, but there's clearly so much more in the writing, the filming, and the writers and directors' minds that didn't make it to the screen.

And being the super fans that we all are, everyone wants to know everything that we didn't get to see.

At the end of the movie, Captain America travels throughout time and space to return the Infinity Stones to where they were taken from. Fans assumed that at some point he would have gone to Vormir and encountered his old arch-enemy, the Red Skull.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed that the two would have met again during Cap's unseen travels.

Teasing the moment, they said that no-one knows the rules of returning the Soul Stone and joked that the Skull is a "no money back policy" kind of guy.

With Chris Evans seemingly moved on from the franchise for good, we doubt we'll ever see the confrontation on the screen, and that's fine. We can't imagine them having a fight – in fact, we think that Cap would pity the Skull's situation.
