Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has opened up about all the secrecy surrounding Avengers: Endgame's hush-hush title.
Back in 2017, before Infinity War was released, Feige explained that the title to Avengers 4 was a spoiler.
When it was eventually revealed to be Endgame, some argued that it was a bit anticlimactic – and not really a spoiler at all.

Speaking to Collider, Feige has now said that the spoiler tease had been "blown out of proportion" – though he justified the MCU's decision to keep it under wraps.
"Well, I think I'd said that it all had gotten blown out of proportion to some extent," he admitted. "But it was a spoiler, because if you knew before Infinity War came out that the next movie was called Endgame, then you know that there wasn't an ending to Infinity War."
Feige continued: "But that had been the title of the movie from the moment we conceived of doing the two films. In large part, because... it's seeded right there. I mean, it's seeded in Ultron."
We're two months away from the release of Avengers: Endgame, and while Marvel has kept details of the movie largely under wraps, some fans think a massive spoiler may have accidentally leaked.
Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK and US on April 26, 2019. Avengers: Infinity War is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download.
