Whether you're a Valentine's Day disciple or find the whole thing a little cringe, there's one thing we can all agree on – as Parks and Recreation's Leslie Knope made clear, Galentine's Day is a great excuse to hang out with your girl gang.

Which might be why Everyman cinemas nationwide are screening Legally Blonde and Mean Girls on February 13, 2019, and encouraging viewers to get together, drink cocktails, and watch iconic movies.

The event description reads:

"Inspired by Ariana Grande’s instantly iconic single 'thank u, next' and the films it parodied, we're showing a cult classic chick flick: Mean Girls – the story of new student Cady Heron who gets into the wrong crowd... the A-List clique The Plastics. [And] Legally Blonde – the story of LA beauty Elle Woods and her journey to law school. Tickets also include a cocktail to enjoy alongside the film."

Mean Girls will be shown on the big screen at Everyman Cinemas in Barnet, Esher, Glasgow, Harrogate, Liverpool and in Birmingham, while you can catch Legally Blonde at Altrincham, Chelmsford, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Muswell Hill, Stratford-Upon-Avon and York. Find out more here.

Ticket prices vary, but screenings will kick off at 8pm. Just enough time for us to listen to 'thank u, next' on repeat and get the snacks ready, then.
