Bradley Cooper will reportedly star as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck in Joe Carnahan's A-Team movie.

Cooper, who appears in upcoming comedy The Hangover, told IESB.net that he is stepping into Dirk Benedict's shoes to play Peck in 20th Century Fox's revival of the '80s TV show.

"It'll be cool," Cooper is quoted as saying. "[Joe Carnahan] will make a great movie out of it."

The A-Team, which ran for five season on ABC in the '80s, starred Benedict, George Peppard, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T as a group of former US Army Special Forces who become soldiers of fortune.

Star Trek's Chris Pine previously staked a claim for a role in the movie, saying that he would like to play helicopter pilot "Howling Mad" Murdock.
