We've had Ubisoft and Nintendo's plans for E3 this week, and now it's the turn of Microsoft.

As with previous years, it will kick off a day of press conferences before the show begins on June 15, with its 90-minute briefing taking place at 5:30pm UK time.

Microsoft teased "the greatest games line-up in Xbox history", including an in-depth look at previously announced games as well as trailers for unannounced titles coming in 2015 and beyond.

It recently said it would focus on first-party games, with reports suggesting an Xbox One remaster of the original Gears of War and a new game from Rare.

The conference can be viewed on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows Phone devices, as well as Xbox.com and in the US, live on Spike TV.

This year will also see the return of its daily 'Live @ E3' hourly show on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (June 15-17) at midnight UK time (4pm PDT), and has teased interactive experiences for Xbox One fans watching from home.

Microsoft also announced a special giveaway for fans in the Los Angeles area, with 500 tickets up for grabs that provide access to the conference and meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the week.

While Microsoft's conference will be the first before the likes of Ubisoft and - based on previous years - EA and Sony, it will not be the first of the week, with Bethesda kicking off E3 week with its first ever conference on Sunday, June 13.

This year's E3 gaming expo will take place from June 16 to June 18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
