Disney prides itself on being at the forefront of animation, and now it seems it's taking things mobile.
In a new short, uploaded to its official YouTube channel earlier today, the studio has recreated its 2010 feature Tangled in emoji.
The animation is part of the promotional drive for a new animated series – featuring Rapunzel and characters from the film – that will air on the Disney Channel in 2017.
Disney plans to adapt Cinderella for the smartphone screen in the near future, possibly to tie in with the home release of its live-action adaptation.
Back in February, the studio produced an emoji version of its highest-grossing film Frozen.
